Amanda and Graham's Great Pig Adventure

Saturday 14th February – Walnut Creek, California

Amazingly, we had both brought Valentines cards for each other from home! We had an early start with the buses leaving at 7am for Walnut Creek, about an hour’s drive.

We had two shows today at 2.00 and 4.30 which we all said felt like an interruption to our holiday! What an imposition!!! The Lesher Center for the Arts is a lovely theatre, about 15 years old, and both shows were almost sold out with enthusiastic audiences, so it hardly felt like work anyway! The hospitality was great again, they couldn’t do enough for us. We had two meals provided which were both excellent and we are encouraged to fill take-away boxes too, which we all do. We have been very well looked after everywhere.

By the time we got out of the theatre after dinner and get-out, we were tired so just holed upon the tour bus in PJs with a few drinks and an early night. Buses leave at midnight for our next stop, Folsom, California.
