Saturday 21st February
The buses parked up at about 6am and some people got up and went out to explore the Strip, an Uber ride away. A few of us walked round to the front of our building, The Smith Center, which is beautiful, art deco in style.
Then on to the old part of Las Vegas looking for a souvenir shop.
11.30 soundcheck, 1.00 show, over 1,000 in and a great reception. Then a few of us got an uber to the famous sign and back again for the second show!
Second show was a smaller audience but still 600. If wasn’t such a huge hall it would have looked full.
After the show lots went to Ru Paul’s drag show! We went with three others to the main Strip, starting with The Bellagio to see the fountains which were brilliant. Then we saw The Paris and walked along to The Venetian which was amazing! Las Vegas is like nothing else!!!
