Thursday 26th February
Avalon Theatre, 6.30 concert, so not needed until 4.00 for sound check. It was a glorious day and warm in the sun although the temperatures were only in single figures all day. Elevation 4,500ft.
12 of us got Ubers and went for a walk in the hills to a rock formation called The Devil’s Kitchen! Stunning scenery and we all took so many photographs.

Somebody from the theatre came in a minibus to pick us up which was great. We had time for a potter around the town, which is charming, and a coffee before soundcheck.

Another small theatre with a tiny stage, so the actors had to re-block some of the moves and we didn’t have to make our separate solo entires, just stood up in our places. I forgot my music glasses (they are usually on my stand ready for after my solo spot at the front of stage) so I spent the whole show squinting at the music. Luckily I know it all pretty well by now!

Afterwards most of us went to a brewery bar which was a fun evening.
A super day!
