Tyler, Texas

Sunday 8th March

Another University campus with lots of trees and two lakes. A large hall and spacious changing rooms. Some of the older theatres have quite cramped facilities so it is always a bonus to have plenty of room! We are so impressed by these campus Universities. They all have beautiful grounds and are so well appointed.

2.00 show and a good turnout of families who all joined in with the singing and actions! It was International Women’s Day so we had a photo of all the ladies in the show to celebrate.

After the show, six of us walked round to the lakes and through the woods. Then on to a small shopping complex, (which was not worth the bother!) Lots of people are trying to collect stickers from each city, which has proved quite a challenge in some places, including today! As we didn’t fancy walking back along the main roads we got an Uber back.

Later Graham and I went out again to the lakes and walked right through the woods (with the binoculars!) and came to a main road with a few restaurants. We went into a Sports Bar and had pizza. On the way back we heard bullfrogs and I saw a bat. Some good birds today, too.
